Challenge
Apple's tvOS is built for a 10-foot interface. The web is not.
tvOS navigation uses a D-pad, focus states as primary affordance, no hover, no cursor. Translating this aesthetic to the web while preserving the feel required rethinking how spatial UI principles could work with traditional browser input methods, without the result feeling like a cheap imitation.

Approach
I studied the core visual properties of tvOS, including frosted glass surfaces, depth layering, bold typography, and a dark cinematic palette, then established web equivalents using CSS backdrop-filter, layered shadows, and animation.
Hover states were designed to mimic the tvOS focus glow, and scroll behaviours were choreographed to feel immersive. The result reads immediately as "Apple TV" without pretending to be something it's not.
Outcome
A distinctive web experience that showcases DDamoah Studios' design range and technical capability. It received strong reception as a demonstration of what web design can achieve when it draws inspiration from outside the browser's usual frame of reference.
